Bruce Peninsula Hospice Inc. (BPH) is looking for community members to sit on its committees and Board of Directors. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, participate in a dynamic Not-For-Profit organization and have a positive impact on your local community.
The board aims to represent its entire coverage area, which goes from Tobermory to Sauble Beach / Shallow Lake and across to Big Bay. We seek to be diverse and inclusive representing all members of our community.
Ideal candidates for committees and board service include those who:
-Know their community and the needs of its residents
-Possess the ability to consider issues beyond their individual community
-Exemplify the virtues of trust and confidence
-Have demonstrated community service by volunteering; governance experience is an asset
-Will take an active role in advancing BPH’s mission and act as an ambassador for the caring and compassionate services that BPH offers.
Specific needs are skills in:
- Finance and fundraising
- Minute taking and organization of files
- Technology and Digital skills. Familiarity with MS365 is an asset.
