Berdina Johnston receives award

Before joining Bruce Peninsula Hospice in 2012, Berdina Johnston had a successful nursing career in Toronto. She then returned to Neyaashiinigmiing where she served as a Community Health Nurse and in many other health and education capacities throughout the region.
During her years of service with Bruce Peninsula Hospice, Berdina has served on the Board of Directors and on the Volunteer and Bereavement Committees. Berdina was particularly supportive and Instrumental in the development and writing of BPH’s publication, Stepping Stones – A Personal Conversation Planning Guide.
Berdina continues to contribute to the hospice community despite her own personal health issues.
