“Remembering Wiarton” Creates Inclusive Community Experience

Wiarton, ON – On Tuesday, October 7, Bruce Peninsula Hospice (BPH), together with community partners, hosted “Remembering Wiarton,” a dementia-inclusive event that created a safe and welcoming experience for people living with memory loss or dementia, along with their families and caregivers.

On Sunday June 2nd, Bruce Peninsula Hospice once again brought the community together to hike, to raise awareness and funds, and to celebrate our achievements. The rain held off and the well attended event reminded everyone of the power of “local people helping local people”.
